Kappa Alpha Theta

Alpha Epsilon Chapter Brown University

Chapter Service & Philanthropy

Our chapter prides itself in the amount of service we do within our school and surrounding community. Throughout the school year, girls from our chapter contribute to the community through hosting blood drives on campus or planting flowers around Diman House. In the Spring we welcome warm weather with a Theta Block Party on Wriston Quad. Filled with hoola hoops, popcorn, and an occasional football toss, we enjoy raising money for CASA and sharing good times with our schoolmates and friends.

On November 7, the Alpha Epsilon chapter held a successful and fun philanthropy event, Gold Bowl I. Our Philanthropy Director and our CMO along with the support of an enthusiastic Philanthropy Committee, planned and put on our first ever Gold Bowl to raise money for CASA. Nothing beats the friendly, competitive atmosphere of flag football on a beautiful Fall day, complete with good music, friends, and food. A special thank you goes out to our parents and friends who donated to CASA, and to our friends in the Greek community, AXO, Beta Rho Pi, and DPhi for their generous donations. We’d also like to congratulate the Brown’s Men’s Baseball teams who won the Gold Bowl I tournament!
